This month our workshop completed a batch of SS304 side‑bow roller chains for an overseas customer who builds modular food conveyors. The customer needed chains that could follow smooth curved sections without extra guides, while meeting basic hygiene requirements for food contact areas.

Regular roller chains cannot flex sideways, so retrofitting existing lines often calls for side‑bow type instead. As a chain maker, we have noticed more inquiries coming from Europe and Southeast Asia for this special chain. We can supply side‑bow chains in common ANSI sizes as well as custom lengths, with or without special attachments.

We always remind clients to confirm the minimum side‑bend radius at the enquiry stage. Wrong radius expectation is one of the top reasons for on‑site problems after delivery.

If your project requires chains that can run on curved tracks, feel free to send us your layout or technical specifications for review.
